Farmacy Beauty Reviews: Favorite Products for Combination Skin
I’ve been a fan of Farmacy Beauty since the first time I tried Green Clean a few years ago! I’ve since repurchased that particular product multiple times over and have tried a plethora of their other skincare products. As someone with combination skin that definitely isn’t getting any younger (I’m in my early 30s), Farmacy Beauty skincare products are some of my absolute favorites. Being a clean, US-based skincare brand, their products are excellent options if you prefer clean beauty and/or have sensitive skin, as their formulas are pretty gentle (with one exception as I noted below).
I reviewed all of the products I’ve tried by Farmacy Beauty and specifically called out my favorite products for combination skin (the ones I’ll constantly repurchase) as well as the products I probably wouldn’t buy again. Sephora is currently offering 10% off sitewide for everyone as part of their Spring Savings Event as long as you are an Insider; this is a great time to try new products or buy old favorites! If you prefer to buy direct, Farmacy offers many sales throughout the year as well.
About My Skin and Beauty Routine
As you know, I’m obviously not a beauty blogger, but I love reading recommendations from regular people like me so I hope that, if you’re the same way, this post is somewhat helpful for you too! (Be sure to check out my new skincare section to find all of my beauty-related posts!)
Along with the fact that I don’t really dabble that much in beauty and skincare, you may have also gathered that I’m very low maintenance when it comes to beauty, makeup, and skincare in general. I don’t have a morning skincare routine and only use product at night. My problem areas tend to be my forehead and chin (T-zone), and my skin is what I would consider combination (it tends to be oilier on my forehead and drier on my cheeks). I break out most often around my period—lucky me!

My Favorite Products for Combination Skin
Cleansers
Green Clean | $22 (1.7 fl oz), $34 (3.4 fl oz), $58 (6.8 fl oz)
I looked through my emails and saw that the first time I purchased this item was in April 2018! I’ve been using it ever since. It was my first Farmacy purchase (and obviously not my last 😉). It’s a great, gentle makeup remover; I typically used it as step one when double cleaning in the shower. I end up using a lot (at least, more than what others say they use) because my mascara is stubborn even though it’s not waterproof. It also makes my skin feel slightly oily so I wouldn’t personally use it without also using a second cleanser afterward.Whipped Greens | $28 (5 oz)
This is one of my more recent Farmacy Beauty purchases, and I have been loving it! I use this in the shower to wash my body (I’m currently using my Maelove cleanser on my face, but every once in a while I’ll use this on my face, too!). I love cleansers that get sudsy, and if you like that too, you’ll love this one. The scent is also fabulous (it contains the same moringa and papaya as the Daily Greens moisturizer, which I also have and love—so refreshing!).Clean Bee | $28 (5 fl oz)
Clean Bee is a gentle cleanser made with honey and hyaluronic acid that was made specifically for sensitive skin. I just have a small bottle (it might’ve come in a set I purchased). It works just fine for me, too! I’m not sure I would repurchase it (mostly because I have so many other cleansers I need to get through first, lol), but I also don’t hate it. It’s a good basic cleanser.
TONER
Deep Sweep | $14 (1.7 fl oz), $28 (4 fl oz)
I definitely didn’t need more toner when I purchased this one, LOL. I use it on nights that I shower, and I honestly can’t tell if it makes that much of a difference for me personally. It contains salicylic acid as well as more of that delicious moringa and papaya combination. (I’ll be honest: I’m a newb when it comes to toner and I feel pretty meh about all of the ones I’ve tried.)
SERUM
Honeymoon Glow (not pictured) | $58 (1 fl oz)
Chances are if you’ve heard of Farmacy Beauty, you’ve either heard about Green Clean or Honeymoon Glow (or both). Honeymoon Glow is their cult favorite serum that contains both AHA and BHA. I’m relatively new to the world of acids, so I tried a sample of Honeymoon Glow (they send small samples with orders sometimes), and I barely used any of it and my face looked like it was sunburnt for DAYS. (I did not do the smart thing and test it on the inside of my wrist first.) I don’t really have sensitive skin so that reaction was not expected or fun. I’m scared to try it again, and this is the only product I really didn’t like! I wish it worked for me!
EYE CARE
Cheer Up | $45 (0.5 fl oz)
Cheer Up is a pretty basic eye cream that contains vitamin C. Mine never really had a creamy consistency; it’s more similar to the consistency of whipped yogurt. It’s a fine eye cream; I’m not blown away by it so I probably wouldn’t repurchase.
MOISTURIZERS + OIL
Honey Drop | $45 (1.7 fl oz)
I have a small sample size of the Honey Drop lightweight moisturizer that I bring with me when traveling. It’s SO hydrating and definitely one I love. Out of all Farmacy products, I think their moisturizers are among the best!Daily Greens | $38 (1.7 fl oz)
The Daily Greens moisturizer is one of my FAVORITE moisturizers ever. It has the most lovely, crisp scent (moringa and papaya!) that feels cooling when applied. I use it most nights though it is a little sticky until it dries. It’s a fabulous everyday moisturizer! Green House is a limited edition gift set that includes Daily Greens, Green Clean, and Cheer Up.Honey Halo | $23 (0.8 fl oz), $45 (1.7 fl oz), $68 (3.4 fl oz)
I started using this ceramide moisturizer last year after hearing such good things about it. It has a thick, somewhat buttery consistency and a light honey scent. This is the moisturizer I reach for when I’m in need of lots of hydration (particularly during the winter months); it’s also my go-to moisturizer to use following any retinols or other strong serums.Honey Grail | $48 (1 fl oz)
Honey Grail is an antioxidant facial oil, and it’s the only oil by Farmacy I’ve tried (I think it came in a set because my bottle is small). I don’t typically use oils because my oily forehead definitely doesn’t need any more oil. This one is fine; I’ll use the bottle but won’t repurchase. I definitely prefer Farmacy’s regular moisturizers to oil!
MASKS
Honey Potion | $38 (1.7 fl oz)
I received a small jar of this warming mask along with the Honey Drop moisturizer. I use the mask less often; it gets REALLY warm, so I would not recommend using it if you’re taking a hot shower at the same time (lol). It kind of feels like your face might burn off. My exact mask isn’t available anymore; the formulation has since been updated to include ceramides and is now called Honey Potion Plus!Coconut Gel Masks: Hydrating and Brightening (not pictured) | $16 for 4 masks
These are Korri’s and my favorite sheet masks! Both are amazing, but we are partial to the brightening mask in particular. I love how refreshing they are! The perfect pick-me-up.Sleep Tight | no longer available
I used to apply the Sleep Tight firming night balm 2-3x a week in lieu of the Daily Greens moisturizer; it doesn’t soak into the skin (in my experience), and I usually have to rinse it off in the morning, but my skin feels really nice in the morning afterward! I haven’t been using it lately as I have so many other moisturizers and masks to use that I like more. Even if it was still available, I likely wouldn’t repurchase it since it’s a little high maintenance for me.
SUNSCREEN
Green Defense | $36 (1.7 fl oz)
If you’re in the market for a reef-safe mineral sunscreen, Green Defense is an excellent option. I love that it’s small enough for air travel! I packed it for our trip to Cabo and definitely appreciated having it. I don’t recall it leaving a white cast, which is always the most annoying part of mineral sunscreen.
What are your favorite Farmacy Beauty products? Any that I didn’t mention? I always welcome product recommendations!
