The home stretch: One year left of my PhD!

I officially have one year left until I should be done with my Ph.D.! To say I'm excited about it is an understatement. I'm so ready to start a career and, you know, actually have some money! That said, I will miss the flexible schedule. Now that I'm not taking any more classes, my schedule is the same every day no matter the time of year, so I am not limited to taking breaks when the rest of the school does. (I can also come in and work on the weekends if I plan to take some days off during the week.) As long as I get my work done, I can work whenever...and wherever. The next plan is to get the programs I use on my laptop so I can work more efficiently from home!

We're officially in the part of summer where I have lost all desire to look cute and seriously lack inspiration when creating new outfits. For this outfit, I looked through my closet and decided to wear this top since I hadn't featured it on the blog since the spring. I liked how it looked with the green shorts for something a little bit different than my usual blue or white denim shorts. I wish a cold front would come through so I can mix up my outfits a bit! ;)
